What exactly is BaddAssApp?
A local-first desktop command center for AI agents. It's a capable agent itself, and it also drives the AI CLIs you already use — Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Copilot and more — with shared memory, team orchestration, and scheduling on top.
Is it free?
The core app is free and open source (AGPL-3.0), built on the open-source Wayland engine. You bring your own AI provider keys or subscriptions — there's no BaddAssApp subscription and no cloud round-trip.
Which AI models does it support?
Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint including DeepSeek and local Ollama models. CLI agents like Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and GitHub Copilot are detected automatically.
Where does my data live?
On your machine. Chats, memory, and files are stored locally in SQLite under your OS user directory. Your API keys stay in your local credential store.
